What to Expect at a Bat Mitzvah
Sabbath Services (much of which are in Hebrew) will run from approximately 9:30 AM - 12 PM Saturday.
Starting at around 10:15 AM, Yael will be leading parts of the service. Especially for those not familiar with the services, arriving at 10:15 ish is completely acceptable.
If you cannot join us in person, but would like to participate in the services via zoom, a link will be provided to you. Please RSVP accordingly.
Business casual attire is appropriate for services and lunch. While you are in the synagogue, males are asked to wear a kippah (a.k.a. "yarmulke") - a head covering. Females are welcome, but not required, to wear a kippah. There is a bin of kippot in the lobby for anyone who needs to borrow one.
The use of personal electronics (including phones, cameras, etc.) is forbidden on synagogue property during the Sabbath. Any devices you bring with you must remain silenced, and in your pocket or purse, during services and during the celebration/lunch.
Let us know if you have any questions (rebecca.kurowski@gmail.com).
We are looking forward to celebrating with you!
-Kurowski Family.
